A public workshop at City Hall was held on April 22, 2026, to develop conceptual ideas for the South Ogden City Center. This workshop provided guests with two conceptual designs, on which participants shared their thoughts and voted on which concept they preferred. Both options featured four concept renderings depicting different views of the site. These points of view were the same for each option and depicted north- and southbound views along Washington Boulevard, a view along Kiesel Avenue, and a view of the Central Plaza. Concept 1 outlined a design featuring building heights ranging from two to five stories. This option received a total of nine (9) yes votes and two (2) no votes, indicating that this was an overall favorable concept design amongst participants. Concept 2 outlined a design featuring building heights ranging from two to seven stories. This option received a total of nine (9) yes votes and five (5) no votes, indicating that the concept was overall favorable but also met greater skepticism regarding its feasibility.
